The Irwin Artefact Collection™ preserves scenes, objects, events, systems and judgement conditions as instruments for careful examination.

Its founding volumes invite observers to distinguish what is present from what is inferred, compare possible accounts, examine evidence, preserve uncertainty and return to what they first noticed.

Each plate belongs to a governed sequence and retains its own archive identity, master frame, edition and observational record.

THE THIRTEEN-VOLUME ARCHITECTURE

The complete collection contains thirteen governed volume positions. Volumes may be produced out of sequence; production order does not change their canonical identity.

VOLUME I · FOUNDING OBSERVATION PLATES

Scenes held open for sustained attention, description and return.

VOLUME II · FOUNDING OBJECT PLATES

Objects examined as records of use, condition, relation, time and change.

VOLUME III · FOUNDING EVENT PLATES

Present conditions examined for the traces of events that may have produced them.

VOLUME IV · FOUNDING SYSTEM PLATES

Relationships, dependencies, flows and changes examined across connected conditions.

VOLUME V · FOUNDING EVIDENCE PLATES

Support, source, relevance and confidence examined in relation to a claim.

VOLUME XIII · FOUNDING JUDGEMENT PLATES

Evidence, consequence, confidence and justified action held together without premature closure.

Volumes VI–XII retain their governed positions within the collection architecture. They are not reassigned according to the order in which volumes are produced.

THE ARCHIVE GROWS BY ADDING RECORDS, NOT BY REDESIGNING ITS FRAME.

The collection is not a set of answer sheets. It does not prescribe a correct reading. Each encounter protects the distinction between observation and explanation while preserving room for multiple coherent accounts, uncertainty and revision.
